About Optics Technology Inc. 

Optics Technology, Inc. was established in 1986 as a designer and manufacturer of unique precision micro-optical and mechanical systems and assemblies. OTI founder James M. Anderson has amassed over 45 years experience in the fields of optical and opto-mechanical technology. As a young engineer at Bausch and Lomb, John Jacob Bausch nurtured Jim’s optical engineering talent and business skills that he would later put to use as one the architects of what is now Corning Tropel.

Mr. Anderson’s passion for optics coupled with his innovative problem solving abilities have been passed along to the next generation of talented engineers and technicians that make close-tolerance fabrication second nature to OTI employees. In every instance, OTI ‘s association with a project or program has led to some problem solving technological advancement. While every project at OTI receives special attention, the competence of the employees, combined with the ability to design and fabricate our own tools and fixtures, ensure solutions that are both technically practical and cost effective. These attributes are what make Optics Technology a world leader in the manufacture of micro-optical systems, assemblies, and mechanical fabrication.
